Candidates & Coffee at Lost Worlds Cornelius

It’s election season in Cornelius once again! With five incumbents, two returning candidates, and three brand new entrants to the political field; the races are as competitive as ever. Cornelius’s future depends on the decisions of its elected officials. What are their priorities? Managing growth? Improving our standard of living? Building a strong economy? Preserving green space?

In a crowded electoral field and with our busy lifestyle, it is hard to research and learn about the candidates’ stances to make an informed decision. Lost Worlds Brewing is here to help. Lost Worlds is sponsoring a series of coffee chats to allow our neighbors exposure to the candidates and to provide the general population the opportunity to ask questions. These "Meet & Greet" events will be hosted at Lost Worlds Brewing in Cornelius starting August 26th and continue every Tuesday and Thursdays from 9-10am through September 25th.

Each of the candidates will have a single date scheduled to connect with Cornelius over a coffee or two. The event will be moderated by David Hamme of Lost Worlds and include a few general questions about the candidates and their priorities for the upcoming session. At the conclusion of the questions, attendees will be allowed to ask questions in an orderly and respectful manner of the candidates
