Let's Raise a stein to sunshine! This is your summer fest, reimagined.

Get ready, Cornelius—something wildly fun is brewing this summer. Lost Worlds Brewing is flipping the script on the traditional fall beer fest and launching Lostoberfest, a sun-soaked twist on Oktoberfest happening Saturday, June 28th at their Cornelius taproom. Think polka party meets beach bash, all served up with craft beer, tropical cocktails, and serious summer swagger.

Oktoberfest got lost… and washed up on the lake,” jokes Lost Worlds founder Dave Hamme, “so we decided to roll with it. Lostoberfest is everything we love about Oktoberfest—the energy, the community, the beer—but with a whole lot more sunshine and flip-flops.

Lostoberfest 2025 kicks off at 9 AM with Coffee & Cars, inviting early birds to stroll the lot with a cup of Lost Worlds Coffee in hand while admiring a parade of hot rods and vintage rides. All are welcome and those interested in showcasing their car, should contact miguel@lostworldsbeer.com

From there, the day ramps up fast:

  • 11 AMDJ Festivus drops the beat, bringing summertime vibes

  • 1 PMLobster Dogs Food Truck arrives with buttery, crave-worthy lobster rolls.

  • 5 PMOOPS Polka Band takes over with a “tropical polka” set you didn’t know you needed.

  • 5 PMAdy’s Pita joins the culinary lineup with fresh street eats.

And yes—there will be steins, summer brews, and tropical drinks flowing all day long.

Lostoberfest is about celebrating the season we’re in—with great people, live music, and a few surprises along the way,” says Hamme. “We’re inviting everyone to dress for the occasion—think Hawaiian shirts, sundresses, ball caps, and maybe even some lederhosen with flip-flops. Why not?

Whether you're in it for the beer, the beachy vibes, or the bratwurst alternatives, Lostoberfest promises a day full of unexpected fun and unforgettable moments.

So grab your crew, slather on the sunscreen, and get ready to party like Oktoberfest took a detour through Margaritaville. It’s more than a party—it’s a summer adventure.
