March 5th Rhythm & Brews Event to Bring Funds and Awareness for Pat’s Place Child Advocacy Center

March 5th marks a significant day for development in the eyes of Lori Avery, Director of Development for Pat’s Place Child Advocacy Center. She, and others from the organization, will gather in-person to meet with friends and donors – something they haven’t done for 2-years.

“We miss our stakeholders, and while still living in uncertain times, we believe it’s time to move back to in-person events and we’re excited to kick things off at Lost Worlds Brewing,” says Avery.

This marks the 8th year of the Rhythm & Brews fundraiser, carefully planned to utilize the indoor/outdoor space that Lost Worlds has to offer.  The brewery will close March 5th for the event that begins at 7pm, but everyone in the community is welcome to purchase a ticket and attend.

Your support and attendance helps Pat’s Place help children in Mecklenburg County who need it most. All the healing services that abused children need – forensic interviews, medical care, advocacy support and counseling – are provided by experienced child abuse professionals in one safe location. Founded in 2000, the organization does not charge clients for services, therefore making community support an important factor.

“Since we opened, we have partnered with Pat’s Place to raise awareness around Lake Norman for this important cause,” says Dave Hamme, founder of Lost Worlds and a former Pat’s Place board member. “From collaborative beers that have benefited Pat’s Place to serving as a pick-up location for their BBQ fundraiser, and now hosting Rhythm & Brews, we remain committed to assisting their mission in any way we can.”

Your $75 ticket can be purchased online here or at Lost Worlds, and includes:

·      Award-winning craft beer

·      Live Music

·      Food

·      Ability to participate in a silent auction

We hope to see you there for the greater good of the children in our community!
