Back by Popular Demand: MecDec Express Returns June 22

Missed it the first time? The sold-out MecDec Express Bus Tour is back for an encore ride through Charlotte’s revolutionary roots—Saturday, June 22 at Lost Worlds Brewing. Led by historian and author Dave Fleming (Who’s Your Founding Father?), this immersive tour dives deep into the untold stories that make Charlotte the cradle of American independence. It’s part history lesson, part local lore, and 100% revolutionary fun—served with a side of craft beer.

Here’s how we roll:

2:30 PM - Meet at Lost Worlds CHARLOTTE, 1100 Metropolitan Ave. for a pint of MecDec Honey Ale (included with your ticket) and an overview of how where we’ll go on our 3 hour tour

3:00 6:00 PM- Board the 50+ seat charter bus (with a bathroom!) and set out for the Charlotte Museum of History, where we’ll get out and tour the famous Rock House. After the museum, we’ll drive by several significant sites and head to uptown for the walking portion of the expertly guided tour. (We cover a lot in just three short blocks near trade and Tryon).

6:00 PM - Return to Lost Worlds, or walk the greenway back to the brewery from the Captain jack Statue.
